Beloit College swept a doubleheader against Northland College in the first intrastate battle of the young season. The Bucs jumped all over the Lumber Jacks in both games winning 20-2 and 17-0.

With 17 hits in each game, the Bucs had plenty of offense to go support the pitchers but junior Alex Norman decided he liked his perfect ERA and didn't allow a run in six innings of work.

St. Mary's MN 18 Concordia University 5
It was an ugly one from the very first pitch for the Falcons. They were never really in the game as St. Mary's offense took over the game from the first inning on.

Dan Shea had three hits while Matt Mayer, Austin Sarauer, Adam Martz and Dan Mueller each had two hits.
